Gerard Adams and his crew just announced on YouTube the third season of the video series called "Leaders Create Leaders". Right now he just published a short teaser for the new series and it is looking really fun and definitely worth to take a deeper look.
"Leaders Create Leaders" is a video series of entrepreneurs, innovators, idealists, all in all successful people who made it to the top with different approaches, in different areas with different goals. The host of the show is Gerard Adams. Throughout the series, Gerard is doing interviews with these people and they can tell their story of how they made it and became who they are right now. I personally really like the approach of the series, because Gerard also tries to show you the struggles and failures the people went through and what they have learned along the way. The goal of the show is to "educate, entertain and inspire a new generation of Leaders" so Gerard. Wow, Sounds like a lot right? So who is Gerard Adams?
Gerard Adams is actually one of them. He is hosting a show he could be part of as well. In the media and the social network world he is also known as the "Millennial Mentor" and his goal is to inspire other Millennials to become successfull. Successfull here does not mean to become rich or something. It is more like living the life you really want and create your own lifestyle regardless of what society has told you.
He knows what he is talking about. Based on his own website he became a self-made multi-millionaire at 24 and sold his co-founded website EliteDaily.com in 2015 for $50,000,000. Obviously success never comes easy, so he also had to deal with failures, fear and self-doubt, just like the people he is now interviewing. For his new season of "Leaders Create Leaders" he is currently working together with a few young and like-minded filmmakers. "Team GA" is Mike Richy, Digital Jeff, Truman Mylin, Michael Bonenfant and Gerard Adams.
They all know what they are doing and when it comes to digital storytelling their skills are definitely on point. So, enough with the background story. Let's check out the teaser for season #3 of "Leaders Create Leaders".
What can we expect? During that season, Gerard will share the stories of the following people:
For sure, interesting and inspiring people, especially if you are also considering starting your own business or if you're just tired of your 9/5 job. And i guess that is pretty much the main statement Gerard and his crew want to spread with the series. Find your own path in life, beat the system and don't just follow the mainstreets. Sidestreets might be riskier and not as comfortable to walk on, but they can be way more exciting and lead you to the places you really want to go to in life. He and his crew try to transport that exact thought into the minds of the Millennials or at least inspire a few of them to take a risk and aim for a not so ordinary life. I totally like the idea and whole thought behind all of this. If you really have to sit on luxury cars and drive around in Lamborghinis to transport that message, however, is questionable. In my opinion, it would be way more authentic if they would focus to 100% on the people and not on the financial gains you might achieve.
So don't get me wrong, I am excited for the season but that is the one thing that bothers me a bit when I watch the teaser. The story Gerard and his Crew are trying to tell is an important one and if our generation really wants to be the most impactful, we should not only create leaders or break the rules, we should - and that's the most important aspect for me - care for each other. Because then, we are really impactful and could brighten up a dark Sidestreet into a colorful Mainstreet!
